We miss you Daddy!

Rowdy left on Thursday to go hunting in South Texas. Braydon has been walking around the house saying "Dada...Dada...da...DADAAA??" and lookin all over for his Daddy. It's too cute! Anyway, we have been trying to stay busy while Rowdy has been gone to help pass the time. I actually am suprised at how quickly the weekend flew by...we stayed busy with Birthday parties, Hibachi dinners, walks around the park, playing at the mall, going to Braydon's Gymboree class!!! It's been fun having all the one on one time with my sweet little B, but we are ready for Daddy to get home! Here are some pics that we took the last couple days..PS After Lisa shared how easy it was to get Campbell off the bottle ,I decided to give it a try...much to my suprise Braydon also seems to be making the transitions to sippy's quite well...We are 2 whole days off the bottle! Where did my baby go??

One Little Monkey Jumping Out of the Crib

Last Thursday Braydon gave us our biggest scare yet. We were putting him down for the night...he was fussying a little and then there was a thump and a louder cry that soon turn to a little whimper. So Rowdy looked on the monitor and did not see Braydon-1st thought he was in the corner where we could not see him...2nd thought go to Braydon's room to quietly check on the baby...Next thing I know, Rowdy is yelling to me from downstairs, "Babe...HE FELL OUT OF HIS CRIB!!!" I flew down the stairs to find my husband looking at our baby who took a face plant onto the floor. wef carefully grabbed our baby from the floor and made sure he was ok-he started to laugh at all the attention...I think he knew he bought himself two more hours of playtime so we could monitor his behavior. Obviously he was fine! I did more crying than he did! Thank God these little ones are so resilient!!!

Oh and he is walking EVERYWHERE

Friday night out on the town

This past Friday we took Braydon to Peter Piper Pizza. I kinda thought he was still too young for a place like this....I was wrong! He had so much fun riding on the rides and was so excited about playing that he did not want to eat any pizza! He twisted and grunted in his highchair until we finally let him play...We are having so much fun with our 1 yr old!
